Attorney Rebeca Jomarron
Associate
Rebeca Jomarron is an associate attorney with Petro Cohen, P.C., where she concentrates her practice on personal injury and workers’ compensation litigation.
Rebeca earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, graduating with honors from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in 2019. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor in 2024 from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. Rebeca was admitted to the New Jersey bar in October 2024.
During law school, she gained practical experience as a summer clerk with Petro Cohen, P.C., working closely with both our Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation departments. She also served as a research assistant for her Legal Research and Writing professor’s published book, and held an Executive Board position with the Hispanic-American Law Student Association.
Prior to joining our firm, Rebeca served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michael J. Blee, J.A.D., and the Honorable M. Susan Sheppard, A.J.S.C. In this prestigious role, she gained invaluable experience working on both the Law Division and Chancery Division dockets, affording her a broad perspective on complex civil and general equity matters.
Born in Cuba and raised in New Jersey since the age of six, Rebeca has been advocating for herself and others from a young age. Bilingual in both Spanish and English, she brings that same dedication and perspective to her work on behalf of clients.
Outside the office, Rebeca is deeply committed to community service. She volunteers as a Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) teacher, mentors local high school students through the New Jersey Hispanic Bar Association’s “American Dream Pipeline Program,” and co-chairs the Community Outreach Committee of the Atlantic County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. She also serves on the Executive Board of the Hispanic Association of Atlantic County (HAAC).
When she is not engaged in community outreach, Rebeca enjoys spending time with her family, spoiling her beloved dog, Theodore, and exploring new restaurants with her fiancé as a proud “foodie.”
