Mr. Petro first earned recognition from Best Lawyers in 1995. The 2027 selection marks more than three decades of recognition for his work in workers’ compensation law.
Mr. Petro focuses his practice exclusively on workers’ compensation law and brings more than 45 years of experience to his work. The New Jersey Supreme Court certified him as a Workers’ Compensation Law Attorney, the state’s highest specialty certification for workers’ compensation attorneys. He earned the certification among the first attorneys to receive it when New Jersey established its specialty certification program in 1998.
Mr. Petro also earns a place on the New Jersey Super Lawyers® list for workers’ compensation every year since 2005 and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which he first earned in 2001.
Mr. Petro also serves the legal profession through leadership roles, including past President of The Justice James H. Coleman, Jr. New Jersey Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court and National Treasurer and National Trustee for the American Inns of Court Foundation.
