Attorneys from Petro Cohen recently attended the Kids’ Chance of NJ (KCNJ) Gala and presented a scholarship award at the event. For the past three years, the firm has partnered with the KCNJ organization to award a student with financial hardship a “Doctorate Degree” scholarship. The scholarship benefits young adults enduring financial burdens due to the loss or serious injury of a parent during a workplace accident.
The 2016-17 scholarship recipient was Scott Kwiatek of South Amboy, NJ, currently pursuing a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). Frank and Susan Petro presented the $10,000 scholarship award to Scott at the KCNJ Gala (pictured below).

Susan Petro joined her good friend Fran Coppola, who was honored at a luncheon Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Smithville Inn.
