Petro Cohen, P.C. welcomes Rebeca Jomarron and Kelly Bachich Sheehan as associate attorneys, strengthening its team of dedicated advocates for New Jersey residents who are injured or navigating complex workers’ compensation claims. Both attorneys share the firm’s passion for helping clients navigate challenging legal landscapes, combined with rigorous training and hands-on experience. With more than 25 years serving clients across South Jersey, Petro Cohen, P.C. continues to build on its reputation for compassionate, results-driven advocacy while mentoring the next generation of legal professionals.

“Rebeca and Kelly embody the values that made Petro Cohen, P.C. a trusted name in New Jersey for over quarter of a century,” said Frank Petro, founding partner of Petro Cohen, P.C. “Their energy, intelligence, and commitment to serving our clients will enhance every aspect of our practice. We are proud to support their growth while they contribute to our mission of guiding clients through life’s most challenging moments with skill, integrity, and care.”

Rebeca Jomarron

Rebeca’s professional focus is on personal injury and workers’ compensation litigation. She earned her B.A. in Philosophy, graduating with honors from The College of New Jersey in 2019, and her J.D. from Barry University School of Law in 2024. Admitted to the New Jersey bar in October 2024, she previously served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michael J. Blee, J.A.D., and the Honorable M. Susan Sheppard, A.J.S.C. Rebeca gained hands-on experience as a summer law clerk with Petro Cohen, P.C. in 2022 and 2023, and is a Trustee with the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey. Born in Cuba and raised in New Jersey, Rebeca is bilingual in Spanish and English. Outside the office, she mentors students and volunteers with local religious and bar association programs.

Jomarron said, “Joining Petro Cohen, P.C. is a milestone in my career because it allows me to fight for clients who face real challenges in their lives. Every case represents a person or family relying on us for guidance, advocacy, and results. I’m inspired daily by the opportunity to make a tangible difference while learning from a team that values both excellence and compassion.”

Kelly Bachich Sheehan

Kelly concentrates on workers’ compensation litigation. She earned her J.D. from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2024, where she served as Vice President of the Moot Court Honors Society and contributed to the Distinguished Jurist Moot Court Competition. Kelly previously clerked for the Honorable J. Christopher Gibson, P.J.Ch., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Atlantic and Cape May County. Before law school, she worked for a third-party administrator of healthcare benefits, gaining insight into the challenges injured and disabled workers face. Kelly is admitted to practice in New Jersey and is active in multiple bar associations.

Bachich Sheehan said, “I joined Petro Cohen, P.C. to be part of a firm that prioritizes client outcomes while nurturing professional growth. I’m motivated by the opportunity to help individuals facing life-changing injuries navigate our complex legal system, and I’m proud to contribute to a team that combines strategy with genuine care for every client we serve.”
